South Lake Tahoe’s newest hotspot, The Loft Live Theatre – Lounge – Dining, will see 2015 vanish and 2016 appear with two New Year’s Eve celebrations. Located within the Heavenly Village, The Loft opens Dec. 15 with a first for the California side of Tahoe South by combining theatre with nightly live entertainment, an intimate bar, lounge and restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine. The New Year’s Eve “Magic Fusion” dinner/show features a three-course meal with dessert, a bottle of champagne for each table, and a ticket to see award-winning master magician Tony Clark for $75 per person (plus gratuity). Following the jaw-dropping, mind-bending tricks, the restaurant and lounge is the venue for an exclusive VIP New Year’s Eve celebration to welcome 2016. The soiree features plate heavy hors d’oeuvres from The Loft’s award-winning chef Lisa Devenchezi-Miller, cocktails, wine and beer, music, decorations, party favors and a countdown to midnight with champagne toast. Doors open at 8 p.m.

 

San Diego-based DJ Abe Lemus will spin music throughout the party with a wide range of sounds, including chill and deep house early in the evening to high-energy, top-40 dance music, R&B, and classic dance floor favorites until 2 a.m. 

 

A limited number of party tickets will provide an intimate, comfortable experience for guests. The upscale living room-style lounge area has overstuffed couches, sectionals, private rooms and fireplaces. The lounge features signature cocktails, craft brews, fine wines, and a full bar. Options include general admission, no-reserved seating as well as standing room. Guests have a VIP table/bottle service option available for parties of four or more. The Loft Theatre is the first venue to have direct access from the third floor parking garage. Guests can also enter from the main entrance located from the Village, down the walk-way from Starbucks. The Loft Theatre offers all guest discount garage parking for $1/hour (reg. $3.75).
